Don't know. The only non-disclosed information I am aware of involves the FPU (K7 enthusiasts beware), but I don't know everything...

It's one of the new cache-streaming instructions in the Katmai, er, Pentium III. This allows programs to write data directly to memory, bypassing the caches, in order to avoid replacing useful data in the cache with useless data. I would believe that this would be very useful in graphics.
