Yahoo,IBM agreement\RenaissanceRe Hld outlook
(PRN)- Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq: YHOO) Monday announced a global distribution
agreement with IBM (NYSE: IBM). Under the agreement, IBM's new Aptiva PC
line offers Internet services from Yahoo!. The new IBM Aptiva PCs connect to
both Yahoo!'s Web directory capabilities (www.yahoo.com) and personalized Web
pages ( my.yahoo.com ).
The new IBM Aptiva PCs connect to a co-branded My Yahoo! start page,
enabling users to fully personalize their Web experience with updated
national news, sports and financial information, local weather reports and
more. The co-branded My Yahoo! start page also includes a customized area for
IBM Aptiva PC owners to access proprietary content from IBM such as news,
information about new products, and online customer support services.
