SEC is Southeastern Conference. I find making money on the short side rather difficult as well but I seem to have more patience than the long side. My big "burns" over the years have been on the long side.

I am still kicking myself for buying CSCO at 41 5/8 and selling it a week later!

If one checks this market, on a TA basis we are way overbought short term.
