data.com So many hot products and CSCO gets only one that they recently acquired. That brings forth to mind what csco is doing with all their R&D $$ and their thousands of engs. Not a single hot product of their own for data communications for CSCO, too bad. How can CSCO be competitive, it's an already old gorilla. All imo, and look for these hot prducts to take mkt share away this year. It is already happening in GBit and ATM WAN switch, coming soon in GBit router. CSCO will have tremendous pressure this year. That's why maybe they're branching out to home networking, which is also potentially can be a grave mistake as it's notoriously known for low margin as well as dreadful pricing pressure. Look for CSCO to be down substantially this year. IMO. BTW, even a small gorilla FORE gets two of their own as hot products.
