Overvalued based on what - if you apply this thinking you should only play Fortune 50 picks!!! Remember that there is only so much of a float on the net stocks and as more people in the world start to feel they are missing the boat as it leaves the dock then the demand will continue to drive up the price as more jump on board. Yes there is a point were people are going to take profits in the old time the market game - it your call at what point to do this. Then you have to figure were to put that money (how long does it sit in conservative investments earning 10% or less). We have not seen a top - SEEK is heading higher and wait until they announce the split.
In at $9 and out at $24. In at $18 and out at $40. In at $37 and out at ????.
In the past week bought SPLN, GNET, CMGI, YHOO, USWEB and up 50% on many of these. Sit on the sidelines and miss out or have the balls to take some risk!!! Just figure when it makes sense to take profits. Look to the fact that many of these stocks are getting upgrades even at these levels. If Yahoo has good earnings - SEEK is over $100.
