LTCM with their $ 130B in derrivatives added to the problems and illustrate the derrivative fiasco that may occur if they don't unwind in an orderly manner. There are $ 100 trillion in derrivatives and
the top 8 US banks hold $ 30 trillion. I don't understand how the 25%
drop in the $ to Yen didn't cause more problems. I don't know why the
60 bp yield increase on the long bond hasn't had more of an effect
on the markets. I don't know how the S&P and NASDAQ can double in 3 years while earnings are flat. I don't know how AMZN can be worth
$ 31B. I don't know a lot and this is the main reason why I can't make money.
