Absolutely correct I had a friend trying to get shelf space for a product he went through hell and finally gave it up. They wanted buy back guarantees, phenominal charges and more. It really is difficult to bring a new product to market

That is right John saw that also.
The deeper your pockets the more exposure and the better positioning you have to get your product exposed let alone in the door.
The program showed what a tough time Virgin Coke had competing with the biggees to get exposure and I am sure there pockets are fairly deep I would guess.
I do wonder what Aqua Vie will be able to do to get into the big national chains. They did it before on a local basis I think in L.A. and the Bay Area...with stores such as Vons and Nob Hill chains. I am interested in AVBC's strategy for getting national retail exposure.
What kind of funding will it take? They will do it thru their distributors.
I guess one strategy would be to begin in one big market L.A. get exposure thru Howard Stern's promotions, have the product catch on there and then start expanding.
Anybody agree??

Chuckr

You are absolutely correct and I am sure that AVBC (Tom) has not realized that it would be that difficult and costly to penetrate these markets. I feel he was a child with a company he really didn't know what to do with even though he had good intentions. My comments only.
