Steve, As a fellow CPQ investor, I am sorry to hear that story. I had hope we didn't have that kind of service. I hope this is an isolated incident. Have you tried the Compaq Works area for excess new and re-furbished, those items are stock. CPQ should make it up to you in some way, IMO! RichieH

I'm confused. As far as I knew, the only shareholder special was a Prosignia package. I wasn't interested in the package because I had zero interest in the printer, UPS, and cable that made it ,"the package." I never received any information from CPQ that we could get a $150. discount on a Presario. Lynn

"Oh, we don't make that model any longer," said the order taker. "Too many of that model were sold and production has stopped. The next in line is our 1800 model. It's only $800 more." I asked if they were going to call me. "Oh, yes, we would have called you eventually but we're just too busy." OH BROTHER!!!!!! The order taker said that to a shareholder!!! I think I would call back and ask for a supervisor. If that didn't do anything, I would write EP a short note with my concerns about the business. Including all paper work. Bet that would jerk things around a bit. Employees at large companies get away with this because nobody reports them to the managers. NW
