Actually, it was the supervisor (a fellow in Utah who would only give his name as "Dan, #21143") whom I'd asked for when the operator/agent said sorry 'bout that. She said she had a list of "more than 35" who had bought the 1250 model (@$1799) that they were going to call (now, two weeks later). BTW, I got a call Jan. 4 to "verify my address because we're about to ship your computer." What a confused operation! On the other hand, maybe they have solved the excess inventory problem.
