People dont usually write receipts for abortions do they? That sounds a little dubious. Of course if Barr wrote a check you can always get a hold of the cancelled check (or Visa statement). So, if Flynt can't produce any proof, I would say it didnt happen. But if I were Flynt I wouldnt wave the receipt or check on the Geraldo show (if I had it) - I would want to publish it in my magazine for one thing, and wait for Barrs response. I guess it will be a week or so before we know.

Flynt has no proof
Flynt has a good legal team. I trust he will be able to defend himself against any libel suits. He left the ball in Barr's court, if Barr wants to escalate I'm sure Larry Flynt will oblige. I expect Barr to slink away and hope the electorate can't remember for 2 years.
