I have at times thought ~ now wait ~ isn't that a great sentence opener? I have at times wondered how much of our thinking is squished together with language. I know, that sounds like, "Duh!", but I wonder anyway. This either makes me dogged, fresh, or stupid.

Nonetheless.

Where was I. There is a certain indelible-ness to words, to the words of thought, and to the way invisible non-word things turn into words, in there. ("There" shall hereinafter be the mind, or brain, or whatever WORD.)

You don't have to think in words. You know? Sometimes you can do without.

I can't. I have to write-down, these days, to think. But that's beside the point.

Some Other People, like probably Alex, (although he'll deny it because he lies like a kaftan) ~ some of these people think too fast for words, or else they think in single letters. Like that last sentence would be:

soplpaahdibhllaksotpttffwoettisl.

Zip! It's faster, isn't it.

That's their slow mode; they do that when they're tired. Normally they don't come out of hyperdrive into words until they have something to communicate.

Bweeeeeewwww, they slooooow down and say, "No."
Wwwweeeeeewb, they're off.

Invisible thinkers; using little or no language.

Me, I wonder if I need to change languages. Would my life be better if I was Greek? My thinking clearer? More positive? Thinking in a Language of Love? Polynesian?

This is what we think of as "The grass must be greener on the other side" concept. But there you go; you're doing it again. Thinking in your language. When, in fact, the brilliant insight within this postulate may be true.

I say we give it a chance, and band together scientifically to sponsor someone in Bora Bora.

I might be just right for this sort of thing.
