Are you suggesting that INTC reducing CAPEX by 14% rather than 40% is good? ;-)

i.e. $4B less "included DEC CAPITAL" less 14% = $3B.

I wonder how long it will take the street to recognize that this reduction is actually an increase from the current view.

I also think ML thought that INTC was going to earn $2.65 in FY1999 ... maybe, after the split <g>.
