Can anyone help me? I have been an ETrade customer since June. Just a plain old person customer, not the Level II kind of customer. I am a position trader so I'm not in too much hurry to make my trades and have no stocks in my account that I want to sell right now. I have been trying to contact them for seven business days, since Jan 4. I have three questions to ask them about my account, none of which are trading questions so I can't go that route.

1. I've emailed them every day for seven days
2. I 've faxed them every day for seven days
3. I've called them after hours for seven days, gotten busy signals, or sat on hold for hours until they close at 8 PM Eastern.

Once, they sent me a blank email, which I faxed back to them and asked what they intended to say in that email.

Do I have to drive from Kentucky to California to get an answer? I'm moving to Fidelity as soon as Fidelity receives my completed forms. However, I've learned that ETrade sends a check to Fidelity in six weeks. It should take ETrade until the year 2001, the way things are going.

All kidding aside, it isn't funny. My stomach is tied up in knots and I am reaching the panic point. I did get someone's name to write to at ETrade. I will write the letter tonight. But Priority Mail from the boonies where I live will take until the middle of next week to get to California. Anyone got any secret phone numbers that I can get through to ETrade with? Thanks for your help.

Thanks Jeff, I will definitely hang around this thread. If FRTI opens around 17 1/2 I am going to watch it to see what it does and then I will decide. I also might put in a limit sell around 15 or 15 1/2.
Thanks,
Nathan
