OK MB, answer this one....about 250B is tied up in six Fidelity funds that all own the same bloated stocks....what's the deal? Does Fidelity cut deals with CEOs?

Ruins a perfectly beautiful evening just mentioning that bane to my existence, Micron. (g)
You will no doubt remember my comments of last Spring that it would trade "in single digits before the summer". Shows the level of understanding of markets at this end. (g)

Ah well, can't win them all.

I'll happily own up to having been totally out to lunch on this one,. What makes it worse is that I still don't understand what keeps it airborne......losses that run to a hundred million a quarter, big debts, mounting unpaid interest payments, massive excess capacity, a classic commodity product set, inventory sleight-of-hand, etc, etc. Must be that soon-to-arrive "rebound" that has been prevalently projected for the last two years.

This one has me on the verge of converting to technical analysis.
Best, Earlie (g)
