Hi Frank, misleading is in the eyes of the beholder then, I guess. I have no problem with them testing/qualifying/screening THEIR portion, and putting a guarantee on that. If only engineers bought these things, that would be enough info. However, the average "I can spell internet" Joe-consumer interprets that to mean guaranteed end-to-end speed. Anyway, it's not like the same games with specs aren't played with dozens of other electronic gear. It's like the 96 dB SNR CD player that gets cascaded into a 65 dB SNR amplifier chain. The consumer just says, "Mildred, I got me some CD quality audio, come listen!" Or, my favorite, the 5 HP shopvac that plugs into a 110V/15A circuit. dh
