I'll test 'em. It is 10:13am. The phone answered in 2 rings. I pressed the #1s for equity trading.

on hold..... not even the music from the TV commercial today...

opps! Tried to use the telephone, forgot I was on hold! 10:28am

10:31am The "TV ad music" starts. That gives the retail account customer on hold so much comfort as he waits to place his BUY order! But while on hold for 18 minutes so far "my stock" is up 4 points. $4 grand so I can save $20 in commissions???? ANYONE trading with this broker is NUTS!

10:36am Tried logging on at
wwws.ameritrade.com
15 seconds later got this:
"We're sorry, but you have waited too long to send this information.
Please try again. "

Okay, 10:37am try again. Hey I'm in!

10:38am I'll try to buy a stock.

10:39am they answer the phone!!!! That was 26 minutes. My stock that I wanted to by is now $16 higher than when I placed the call. $16,000 I lost. I wonder how many IDIOTS continue with AMTD to "save" $20 in commissions?

Colin, Dis-satisified AMTD customer.
