Al,

I've been on some great snipe hunts in the Boy Scouts.
What you failed to mention was that snipes are big birds
the size of wild turkeys, with vicious dispositions and
very sharp claws. Running into the bushes to grab one
and coming back out bloodied (ketchup works great) and
then telling the first-time hunters to run in there and
get that damn thing gets them in tears.
