Yes, I guess I should have informed her about that. :-) One of my other friends believes in that and has recently tried to get me into MSFT, "because if it does go down, it always bounces back." I said, "No thanks". The market internals are not supporting the Nasdaq being back to almost even. I think the "big boys" are getting out, but telling the public (as you said) " US is immune from any other problems around the world. The US stock market will keep going up at >20% per year for next decade"
