Well said my friend,, if the powers to be at SI take a good look at what goes on, and CARES ? what goes on here should speak for the quality that has kept other "quality people" interested and not abused.

I'll be sorry to see you go, Tim.

But I understand your position. I too thought about starting a 'scholarship' program for Dawg and other investing newbies who either want to get started or who have some unique story to tell.

Unfortunately, I'm still "in the hole" from where I started, but when I make a shitload of dough, I'm definitely do something down the road for people like Dawg. Money's like manure, it's no good unless you spread it around.

Anyway, if you do go, there's a real E-mail address in my profile if you want to keep in touch.

And I hope you do.

Careful.....

"so back to the deal....i will stay here but only if SI donates a small amount of money ($2000) to junkyardawg so he can get back in the market and try to turn things around for him and his family...and i would be more then happy to help....i know this is peanuts for a big company like SI that just sold for 60 million...besides the press would be great for SI.."

Almost sounds like extortion...turn the page Tim.

Tim:
to find a good stock. People think that you just pull one
out of a hat or something. They do not realize the hours
I really don't know what to say.

I wish everyone on this thread new what you have to do

and hours and hours of researching and DD. The time and
effort put out by you and Glenn and others is not to be
measured in dollars. How would these people feel if they
put their money in a load mutual fund and paid a large
percent of their profits to have someone with your knowledge
and timeless efforts. I for one thank you. You would not believe
the amount of people that have come over to my web-page and
said that they followed you and your advice. Many of these people
have told me that they have not signed up for SI yet. They follow
you and your picks. Two of the people that have e-mailed me have
signed up just recently because of you and your thread. Many
more tell me that they will be signing up soon.
People
You have no idea what you have at your disposal here. Tim's knowledge
you can't buy in a book. His honesty is not to be found anywhere.
That is his greatest asset.
If you go Tim I will follow and so will many others.

As far as me and my wife
Listen the money I lost was my fault for not listening to people
of experience like Tim and Glenn.
Don't worry about me and Sheila. We have food on the table and
our bills are up to date. I am presently saving as much of my
paycheck as I can to get back into the market. I will make it back.
Their are many kids out there that are being abused by their
parents and other scum of the earth. These kids have never heard
of the stock market. All they know is that a grown person that they
have put their trust in is "hurting" them. I know of no greater sin
or wrong doing on this earth. MY GOD THIS IS A CHILD WE ARE
TALKING ABOUT!!

Shiela and I will make it back. Let's get those kids out of these
scums hands.

I do thank you for the greatest kindest thought I have ever heard
of. And I only met you on the internet a few weeks ago. For you
to make this stand because of your belief in what is simply "right"
and "wrong" says something of your character.

Best of luck to you and everyone else.
Where ever you go I will be.

Ok. I've hit this thread because I like the fact that it does not appear to be a pump-n-dump like Mex's thread. I also like the fact that some of my former day trading buddies have turned up here posting their picks. Indicates there's a lot of respect for the posting guru.

I can tell you this though: the companies behind the these threads don't really care about those who post on them. I can remember the days of Prodigy when day trading was in its infancy. *P didn't care about those who posted... much less their tone.. nor the way they mislead people and helped them lose their money.

Tim, I don't know you and don't have any right to question your position nor decisions, nor recommendations. But I will tell you I give you a lot of credit for coming off as an honest guy who posts his picks when he buys and posts his sells when he unloads. You can ditch SI, no big deal. But there are many other ways to skin a cat.

I like and respect your desire to help the Dawg. But don't give up your ability to help a lot of other investors, particularly the newbies, with your honest posts. You'll be potentially hurting a lot of "young" investors who follow you in order to make a point to an anonymous posting enterprise.

My 3 cents, as someone said.. good luck in whatever you do.

Kath
