I bought one at 37 and one at 38 yesterday. I think we've seen the lows of this sell off.

Later...

Berney, regarding waiting for AG to speak, did you read they may not let him?

exchange2000.com

I'm thinking it's pretty academic by this point, most know what's going on without him saying it, but his saying so will expose Clinton's true job performance. I expect we'll hear of Greenspan's "retirement" soon to keep the punch bowl spiked.

I think now we're past the stage (to paraphrase "Where are the Customer's Yacht's") where everyone woke up one day and saw the right thing to do was be in the market (as evidenced by the internut blowoff). Even though we're being bombarded with big brother's "2+2 is 3" speak lately, I still hope for the sake of the future, we're close to the next stage where the herd wakes up one morning remembering 2+2 is 4.

But obviously WDIK, I've been wrong thinking 2 + 2 wasn't 3 <forced-G>

regards,
& comments welcome as to whether I'm nuts,

Tom

Berney,

My efforts unfortunately came short of getting me short in time to really capitalize on this move down. I could see the move coming, but i missed by a few days on the timing for entry.

Now that the move is fully underway, it's a piece of cake to predict what will happen next. We're in route to Dow 9025 or so in the next few days. After we reach that level, we'll consolidate sideways for a few days, then head to the final destination of 8400 or so.

The bottoming action will be treacherous, with lots of whipsaws, so once we see the 8400 area, it may take a week or so to finally leave that area, with several trips between 8700 & 8400 a strong probability.

You're right.... cash is king for now!!
