Re the bonds, not sure that I can tell you a whole lot other than the fact that I find it easier to trade than the spoo. As far as the signals are concerned for position trades it is basically the same system that provides that for me. One of the things that makes it easier to trade is that there is less erratic movement and the daily trend seems to hold for the most part -- but I look for just a few tics -- fills are a lot better with hardly any slippage. The liquidity is incredible. From a position trading stand-point when it begins to trend, it can be good for a $5k-$10K move per contract.

I suspect that with your day trading prowess, you'll end up doing great. Margins are fractional in relation to the spoo; LW requires a margin of about $2750 per contract -- which is the exchange minimum, I think. For day trading they accept half that amount.

I started day trading the bonds about two months ago and was doing great -- until yesterday's fiasco. But that was my fault entirely -- in terms of poor money management. Also, yesterday the bonds went all over the lot -- gapping up, running a lot higher and then declining to below the previous day's close and then running up again into the close -- unusual price action for the bonds. I became gun-shy after the loss that I took and even today there was a perfect set-up for about 10 tics that I saw but did not take-- and it would have been a winner.
