i guess tomorrow will tell the story. if there is a rally tomorrow, the decline isn't over. however, it's a little perplexing because stocks like chase manhattan bank are obviously being accumulated with hugh 1-2 million share blocks the last couple of days but the media isn't entirely pessimistic yet. The chart also shows that the decline should stop around 9125 but if not its alot further down. so i guess, we'll see what happens tomorrow.

I think that many of the specialists in financial stocks(banks and brokerages) bought large quantities of stock during the sept./Oct. 98 lows for their investment accounts (as opposed to their trading accounts). I expect that over the course of the next year these stocks will be rallied to new highs.

Good luck to all,
