Pat, you said G1 will not come out until Global One can offer the networking services involved. They don't want to make a big splash and not be able to deliver.

I detect you've been sleuthing again and wonder if you could finish the thought by saying when G1 will be able to offer the services?

"I notice there's a little sell-off and I wonder why anyone would lighten up 7 market days before ComNet."

There is much discussion of technology on this thread, and relatively less on the share price and potential near term-trends.

Surely a prudent investor would sell part or all of their position after a sharp run-up such as we've just seen. Such are normally followed by a price fall back that would allow one to buy back in.

However, what I am trying to devine, as I'm sure most of you are, is where this is going in the next 7 - 10 days. My chat buddies feel that the quarter news, or at least it's anticipation, will be positive for the share price. However, the Lucent/Ascend announcement has pushed NN farther than expected that the quarterly news would. One of them, a techie sales type with "contacts" at NN, sold last week, as he had heard rumours that the next 6-12 months would be weak due to failed contract talks. I quite enjoyed calling him Weds night! However, was he right? Was it only the Lucent deal that has given us this little push??

So, pundits, was the $59C the other day as high as it is going on this short-term cycle, or will the quarterly news push it into the $60s CDN??

Thoughts please.
