Oh, my, remember gas refrigerators that would discolor the ceiling? The ones with the crazy pan underneath that always filled with water? Listen to me, I am not that far away from the primitive even now. No dishwasher, microwave, or toaster. My refrigerator needs defrosting once a damned week. "Did you know, that listening to The Soft Parade at full volume on a stereo with large speakers will cause your teeth to rattle? I just found that out when I walked into my kid's room."
