JEM,
I got out today at 1 7/8 as well. This morning was a horrible time for my ticker to break down. I didn't get real time until quarter past 10, by then the 2.50 spike had already passed.
Once I realized the immense volume with lack on continued increase I knew that it was a good time to bail. Your post of the farce was the ticket, God bless you.
With this kind of volume, I knew that 1 of two things had to be happening or both. The first is insider selling. The second is that this was scammed and the MM's are putting out all the short shares that the market will eat up.
Suppose that this young apprentice reporter prints a false add...on purpose. He get's a million, and gets fired, and moves to Cancoon. Suppose he is an apprentice and just screws up, and the MM sees it?
Either way you have a golden opportunity. Once the correct news gets out, she will crash. The MM's will cover up their shares over a length of time. There must have been allot of folks that bought yesterday, that sold today, and that bought and sold today. All the corporate shares that are listed as long can be shorted. They can be bought and sold over and over. If the MM's shorted allot, and IR catches them, they may be forced to cover. But if 15million shares were bought in the morning, then another 15 million sold in the afternoon, that's 30 million shares TRADED, but it is still only 15 million shares.
