<<) average price per unit was $9.06 which is greatly improved over previous quarter when 6 million units were sold,>>
Huh??? The #units shipped was up from 6mil to 7.6mil, but according
to my #s the ASP was DOWN from $9.50(SepQ98) to $9.18(DecQ98).
And that's down 14% from the YTY ASP of $10.71. A disturbing trend IMO.
It's the biggest annual ASP drop in HMTTs history even with them shipping
more than 60% of the platters n the DecQ at >3GB. In the past, the
increased areal density requirements have helped prop the ASPs up.

HMTT experts: I sold my shares at 15.5 and have taken a hiatus from reading any news. Can somebody summarize what the situation is here, what the prospects are, how the employment situation looks, etc? In another month or so, I will check out loading up again begin the next earnings report.
