Arnie:

A very interesting article in tomorrows addition of the Wall St Journal. Nextlink is purchasing for 137 million dollars, Nextels interest in Nexband. With the movement of Nextlink this past week, it appears that CM may be refocusing his efforts to Nextlink and Nexband, and isolating Nextel from the synergy. This may be an evolving effort to let Nextel go.
It is going to take big bucks to develop Nextlink, Nexband, and Nextel. CM can make a huge profit selling Nextel and use those funds for the development of his fibre optic network.
Nextel is holding up a lot better than it has in the past during market selloffs. More unusual, with Nextels large interest in Brazil, you would think there would be an negative impact.
Would appreciate your comments on this.
