Larry, if VLNC shows the market a contract for $100 MM (from a single OEM), I would be surprised if the stock did not go to mid 20' or even with an overshoot, to what Fred is painting. The reason is quite simple, if one OEM has a demand (and the temerity) to order $100 MM (even if it is an "annual" draw down type order) the market will at once project that within three or even five years, sales will reach that billion dollars annually or even more. Look at all these internuts, they are selling at 20 to 30 times there expected future sales. Well, not PROG, but that is another story.

The market does discount future events and a $100 MM single order from one OEM might even warrant a price in the 20' IMHO.

And remember on todays markets there are a few "high caps" with not too much revenue. The WSJ mentioned recently that AMAZON's cap had surpassed Sears and AOL's cap was higher than Disney's

Have a good day.

Larry - I'm easy. I'll settle for your VLNC prediction of $25 by year end. (Best to err on the conservative side with those market cap calculations.) Are we invested yet?

Larry:

I have to disagree with you on this one. No, they announce a $100 million contract, and baby I will be buckled up! Just look at the valuations on the internet stocks, especially those that have projections to lose money until 2001. Valence, we have all speculated will earn a profit when they sell products, hopefully this year. I am a believer that IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF they ever sign a contract we will see a great stock price.
