> I dont have any Jan puts

Actually, I meant I don't have any Jan puts that are worth anything. I moved everything that still had a bid greater than zero into february long ago. :)

To my knowledge, Amazon has not been singled out as a downgrade by any large brokerage firm.

While Yahoo, Lycos and others have been downgraded, there is a difference. I know many stocks are grouped together as "internet" stocks. However, further differentiation is needed. Most of the downedgraded stocks are portal sites. Amazon is a retailer. Where there exists actual sale of merchadise, anything can happen (look at the AAPL turnaround. Everyone was ready to write them off as dead company a year and a half ago, now they beat the street by seven cents)

For what its worth, good luck to all,

TIm
