Dear N2: OK, here is a brief synopsis of what they did to a client of mine some time back. Its been a few years now so I may not have all the facts exactly right but it went something like this. My client had a great idea, invested all of his funds and his friends funds bringing it to a point, but needed more money. In steps IBM saying we will advance the funds necessary bi monthly and you must meet certain goals. My client meet every goal ON TIME and they funded until the VERY FINAL GOAL when it was known it was a success. Then on THAT funding day, they refused to fund UNLESS he signed over nearly ALL HIS SHARES to IBM. This was the day before payday of several HUNDRED programmers brought in from all over the World. Without that money, couldnt meet the PR. I advised my client to tell them to SHOVE IT, set him up with a great attorney and said SUE THE BASTARDS. Nope, he couldnt take the pressure and SIGNED OVER. IBM wasnt satisfied with 50% they wanted it all and Patents or copyrights meant NOTHING. JDN

INCIDENTALLY; My client was an ex PRIEST and VERY honest!!
