Re: Qcom winning bid for Brazil. If you are the only bidder, does that make it a bargain? If you bid above the amount preset by the government, does that make it a bargain? If you put in a sealed bid in December and days before the award the local currency is 10% lower, is that a bargain?

Dont get me wrong, I think it is important for Q to expand the exposure of CDMA whenever possible, but until the money hits the bottom line, the verdict is still out. Yes it looks to be reasonable, but I am sure someone might have said that about Nextwave as well.

Get the license, put out the hardware and show me how crazy the Brazilians are for teleco infrastructure, then I hope to be able to say it was a screaming deal.
