well I am not an expert..but if I see the competition in TV and VCR...and the price pressure in this segment..I think it is a good decision , maybe to move on to higher margin products..there are niches out there....btw....I think the market for VCR is going to fade more and more....maybe they will enter the DVD market instead..which will one day in the near future become standard...as VCR was for over 2 decades now...just my humble opinion... does not make sense to have increased revenues on no profit sales..and that is what Emerson was in the last year...but they probably had to to get name recognition....no it is time to earn money...and move on..
