This is what makes a market.
I think Yahoo AMZN and AOL are more at risk that CMGI. CMGI is the octopus of the internet ran by winners. Winners have invested in the CMGI; Microsoft,INTEL to name two. IMO, CMGI is a true blue chip of the internet. The company will probably evolve into some sort of a plumber, enabler, marketing company who knows, It may continue as an octopus but with many profitable arms.

What in the hell is going on with Cmgi? Down over 60 % from high.

Is option expiration pressuring the stock?

Looks a bit overdone to me.

Opinions ?

<<But CMGI, as a venture fund, is vulnerable on a business model standpoint.>>

Could you elaborate? I agree with you, if you mean that, when the market demand for Internet startups is sated, CMGI could fall significantly. But as long as the demand continues, CMGi, which is in the business of supplying Internet stock, stands to win.
