My post has the utility (Win98) drive backed up on a second (accessable from
NT) partition on the Win98 drive.


Ideally one should be able to restore the utility
drive from the NT drive with all restore options resident on the first drive. My post has the

drive. Somehow, somewhere I think the utility drive should be backed up.


For consistence of approach and ease in remembering what is backed up and imaged where, having each drive mirror the other would, as you say, be more ideal. I was attempting to sythesize yours and Spots approaches although we have talked around this idea before.
