OT: TrashPoint Responds!

I sent an inquiry to TP as a potential customer (if an E-Bill recipient can truly be considered a customer in this particular model). I used the link on the TransPoint site designated for such inquiries, so it's not as though my message was sent to a random e-mail address somewhere over at TP. This was sent to the address set up expressly for these kinds of inquiries.

Over a month later, someone at MICROSOFT deigned to grace me with a response, which follows, in its entirety:

So, where do we sign up? I can't find a signup place anywhere on your web site. I found CheckFree E-bill's sign up place just fine. I got my electric bill from them.

Look at the date of the original message and the reply. Gack! I hope this is the kind of response time customers should expect out of TP. If it is, it's smooooooth sailing for CheckFree.

If I could get a little respect out of you all.

It would be for Herman Zelmer.

Good friend of my GrandPa Oscar, My Father Phil, and Myself, a friendship and business relationship that has transended 3 generations spanning 70 years...and effected many in my neck of the woods.

My Grandpa was the Bank around here in the 30's when their were no Banks around here, Oscar was the Bank, Oscar set Herm during the depression years with financining for his Tool & Die Business, and then Herm in return set me with a great deal in Real Estate 60 years later after achieving his fortune.

Herm cut a Wide Swath, he was like CIA during WWII, what OSI? What ever they called it.....at night, in Canada under a propane lantern we young cocky men would listen to the story of someone behind enemy, NAZI lines, which included murder and mayhem. Better then any damm movie, because we knew the man

Herm sold the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes to The Federal Government as A National park here in Michigan.....

Herm normally didn't own a lot on the lake, Herm owned the lake, 7 miles of beach in Florida, He Sold the name of a golf cart, A.W. to Buick...in the 50's, he sold a Golf Cart called the Buick Special he was putzing with ....Buick paid him $250,000 for the name, 'Buick Special', when they did their 50th anniversry addtion....ect. Herm got Lucky..

Stories Ladies and gentlemen... And yes, when we were fending off that Bear in Canada, actually about 7 in Canada...like bugs at a lantern....Ole Herman the German was right there with us pelting those black bears..with Canadian Molsen Bottles, last time he went with us up there...he put us all in a float plane so we could see it all from above...GOD LIFE IS SO WONDERFUL.

Herman Zelmer passed away Sunday...

What a wonderful friendship...My Son will carry foward...as I won't let them forget.
