Your point is valid under duration of stress. Some abortions may not be done under stress, they may be done for convenience, rather than survival. That is why I said "who am I to say ?". But there is a difference.

Another difference lies in the fact that mankind has been blessed with a powerful mind. A mind which can make an informed decision. Animals of your example are not. Does that count for something ?

I try not to be curious about personal positions, so the last sentence in your note is not an issue at all !
