You are taking a much too theoretical approach to a selectively
sampled puddle.

No large diamonds in 2 other bulk samples!

I've compared the 200 ton sample (1,387 diamonds total - 25 diamonds over 1 carat weight) with results of 2 previous samples and the anticipated results of a sample that should be released shortly:

Oct, ‘97:
- 137 Kg (302 #) bulk-sample from 12 drill holes
- 400 diamonds
- 25 over 1 mm - largest = 1.8 mm long

Nov 12, ‘97:
- 214 Kg (470 #) bulk-sample from large kimberlite boulders
- 494 diamonds
- 25 over 1 mm - largest = 3.5 mm long

The two '97 bulk-samples gave no indication a 200 ton bulk-sample would recover more than perhaps 1 or 2 diamonds over one carat in weight. Yet supposedly there were 25 stones over 1 carat (or 5 mm) in size up to 10.8 carats (12 mm)!

When the high-grade 200 ton results were released in June managment said they wanted to take another bulk-sample as soon as possible. So why didn't they take a larger sample from July to October while the weather was good and store it for winter-road transport?

Nov, ‘98 announcement:
- 500 Kg (1100 #) bulk-sample representative of 200 ton bulk-sample and also said to be from '98 drill holes
- In Nov. Winspear said sample was tested and results would be released shortly.
- Jan. 15, '99 (2 months later) and no results. Why? Results will probably be similar to the 2 earlier bulk-sample results with no diamonds over 2 or 3 mm long! If there were any large diamonds the release would probably have been out in November or December!

I'm just trying to use the available data to figure it all out!!

Good luck to all...
