OJ, Very good point, no margins would kill any brokerage business. If the exchange required it, the houses would make up the differences with their money, probably, just to keep the business going. I agree with you about using a top name firm, I use MER and get great fills and a discount. To save a few bucks and get a fill way off the market price ends up costing the customer more in hidden costs. My father told me long ago, "Cheap is cheap, you get what you pay for." Boy, was he ever right..... GZ
