No price drop on older CPUs.

Thought people should know that Tekserve has sold its stock of 266DT/G3; 266DT/G3 w/MS Office and 300/DVDs *without dropping prices*. [We still have stock on 300DT/Zip and 333MT/FW.]

We've got half a dozen iMacs left which we think we'll move at MAP over the next week. [Blueberry appears the most requested color of the new lot which probably will help clear out the Bondi-colored.]

I have *never* seen old Apple inventory clear w/o price drops and/or big supply buildups.

I know AMD doesn't make computers, it is an error I carried forward....
As for the low cost PCs...I think they will turn out to be not such a big deal.
I have questioned whether AAPL would merge or be bought out, I've never asserted either...but I have heard from friends that SGI looks like a serious proposition for AAPL to buy. That talks "may" have been taking place. We'll see.
