Thanks Sword.
Did I mention the psychological impact of a trade gone massively bad?
How irritable I would get when a position was cut in half cause I jumped at something. What an ass I could be to the people around me cause I couldn't get that last, sour, trade off my mind.

UGH.

I am doing this, hopefully, to be able to retire earlier, and enjoy life. Not to be a miserable SOB because I threw away thousands of dollars daily (August 98, ugh) trying to catch a white hot, falling, broadsword, heh heh heh "knife" seems too understated, There is so much more to do than pushing money around.

Don't get me wrong, I think the markets are one of the most interesting games around, esp from a psychological standpoint. The markets have the unique ability to quantify the reality and perception of the worlds (yes the worlds) economies. The phrase "Greed and Fear" comes to mind, heh heh heh. I'm infatuated with that on a purely intellectual level

"But wait, that's not me, this guy screwed up, I won't make those mistakes, I'm better than him. Look how much I've made so far, its so easy, I can't lose. Blah blah blah"

HA. you can, and 90%( or some other, god awful, high percentage) of us will, sooner or later. Oh well, time to turn off the computer, suns shining, must take a ride in the real world for awhile.

Later all,
D
