I think FT was talking about control over one's body- not the control the state might exert to keep separate bodies from violating the individual rights of other bodies.

You are describing complete anarchy, not freedom. Freedom and liberty demand duty and responsibility. The proper role of government as defined by the Founding Fathers is the protection of individual rights and property. That is its number one purpose for its existence.
