Maybe that was how things were a few years ago, But seeing PSIX down 6 on 100K shares after a run up of 5 points on 4 mil shares the previous day makes me kinda weary on their motives.
In fact the option specialists knew this as the price on them barely budged for such a huge drop.

Thats fine and dandy. The only problem is, most of the time they are trying to make money off YOU and they dont provide the services they were set out for in the first place which is an orderly market. I think just letting the market run wild makes for a much more orderly market than the ones I have seen where the MM's start walking a stock UP and DOWN just so they can make money rather than letting people buy and sell shares.
