So that means what .. the markets close at 2 .. hey man you've still got 7 hours left for golf ... I'd love that schedule in the summer only.

Yes Tim,this is a tough sleep schedule for West Coasters--hell I don't like getting up at 7 or 8---
Regards the topic I will just give my two-cents in mini posts--
regards the capital necessary,I think 100k would be the rock bottom cash bundle one would need to quit your job and do this, and ideally I think 200k would be best,as then you can work the 100 hard and have a 100k cushion to tap in and out of fast--those are my first 2-cents.
BTW,I am a self-employed trader of one year experience--so still just learning.Good Luck,all--Max

Tim, I started getting up at 5 but it has slipped to 4. But I have to be at real work ay 9. And I turn on the coffee after the robe. First things first. That's my #1 addiction.

Question to the thread. Does anyone here have a realestate license/ biz to go with this trading biz? If so I would like to know more about how you work your schedule. I am considering some big career changes.

TIA
Melinda
