chalu2 - I'll try those questions...

Stop losses can be used on Nasdaq stocks by *some* brokers. Others do not allow them. My broker doesn't allow stops on nasdaq.

A stop loss order will sell at the stop price or *lower*. A sell limit order will sell at the limit price or *higher*.

For example, if I put a stop loss order to sell IMON (which is now at nearly 6) at 4.5, it would not sell until the stock price dropped to 4.5 or below. If I put a limit order to sell at 4.5, it would sell at the current price (so long as that remained above my limit price of 4.5).
