Deliverly services are the weak link to many businesses, what with the huge costs trucks, fuel, upkeep, unions (high wages ot, ect) d.o.t. (department of transportation). I know how expensive it is to ship by truck product out of CANADA to U.S and vise versa because of the huge cost for permits just to go through the provinces.

Good companies are the ones who can recognize another's underdeveloped aspect of their business, and they realize that they have something that will strengthen their competitor's supply chain.

When rapid growth is the key, then I think it would be foolish for a company to wait till a "good fit" company's market share and share price drops off. Why not merge with them now, when they are strong and begin to realize the economies of scale right away?
