I guess the point of your post was to point out the moronic nature of coming up with a new index? Stock Watcher put a lot of effort into that list. He actually researched the companies. Maybe it won't replace the Dow or the S and P, but I'll bet you within that list there will be a company that outperforms any stock in either index over the next few years. I can remember just a few years ago when AOL was trading for $2. Now AOL is on the S and P. Don't you wish you would have owned AOL when it was trading as AMER? You'd be stinkin' rich and probably wouldn't be bothering to post on SI - except to tell people here what a stock picking genius you are. I've already made my bet about which company on that list is the right one to own over the next year or two. You can find it by doing a profile search, then, if you'd like, you can search what the company is all about. Good luck John.
