Hi Tom, my guess would be that any "connections" between the MFNX and the AOL/BEL arrangements would be strictly co-incidental. Such a coincidence would be the case if some of AOL's backbone traffic traversed BEL's newly acquired capacity from MFNX. But given the international and long distance flavor of BEL's stated intentions for the fiber, I'd say that the answer to your question is no, or at least, not that I have been able to discern.

xDSL is a service running on existing twisted-pair copper so one can use the existing phone line between his home and centrol office to run data at 1-10M speed without interfering with the phone network. MFNX provides dark fiber to Bell. They have NOTHING to do with each other what-so-ever.
