I'm not sure if my answer meets your question. My ISP gave me a floppy with the stuff I needed to get on-line when I signed up. The install went easily and added Trumpet Winsock, Eudora, and Netscape to my system. It worked OK right away. Luck of the Irish, PW.

I later downloaded Microsoft's browser -- It worked first time too!
