HerbVic, I agree there is value in keeping the margins high. The street would have seized on decline in margins just as they will seize on perceived slowing of iMac sales. Anyway, all water under the bridge now.

The single most important factor in the stock now will be sales info on the blue G3 and new iMac. Fred Anderson steering analyst to a pretty low result for the qtr saying revenue and earnings should beat Q2 98. That's .38 operating and 1.4 revenue. Last I checked analysts still had .54 as consensus estimate. If we don't see some very public data regarding sales this month, we may see the consensus estimate decline along with the stock price.
