Adam, I agree that there is very little logic in Apple buying SGI. The only possible synergy was in the OS side of things and that's pretty weak. As you say, SGI is moving toward NT machines with their new 320 and 540 models although the rest of the product line remains MIPS/IRIX and Unicos. I challenged MeDroogies on it because he presents things as if he has knowledge of them when in fact he appears somewhat clueless - at least in the few cases I've seen since I've been back. Rich
